ENWA Seminar
Thursday 3 February 2011
Seminar Theatre 2
Seminar E
Time: 13.15 - 14.00
Speaker: James Townley, ENWA
Subject: Water treatment and HVAC efficiency
Content: Striving to meet new Building Regulations in refurbishments and new build HVAC projects requires effective capital expenditure and cutting edge technologies. To maximise the return on investment and minimise impact on the wider environment, structural integrity and design efficiency must be protected and maintained. To realise this in full, greater awareness and a higher priority status must be assigned to the energy carrier itself – water.
This seminar addresses key water quality issues for closed loop heating & cooling systems and their impact on energy consumption and life cycle costs. The issues discussed have direct relevance to facilities managers, consultant engineers, and building services professionals.
